In reality, "Us" is Max Poppers, the photographer, and all the wonderful people who help him reproduce his photographs, ship them to customers and maintain his website. "Us" should also include those men and women who, because of their great passion for flight and airplanes, take the time to lovingly restore, care for, and bring to the public classic flying machines. Max Poppers is a private pilot who for most of his life has been enamored with airplanes and anything to do with flying. From the time he was first aware that planes flew in the sky, he was looking up. When flight travel for business and pleasure became a common thing, it never became common for him. "Before they began filling all commercial planes to capacity," comments his wife, "Max would bounce from one window seat to the other, with a big grin on his face, the entire flight. It was always like traveling with a young boy who was having his first great experience on an airplane. It made it new for me, too!" Max was fifty years old when he got his private pilot's license. ”I recommend, if you've always wanted to fly and made excuses not to, DO IT!" says Max. Getting his license gave him the opportunity to have two passions fulfilled, flying and photography. A photographer for many years of his life, he began taking "portraits" of airplanes in the early 1990's. His photographs are artistic, almost sculptural in quality. And they delight everyone who sees them. Max has made the prints in his numerous art shows on aircraft available to the general public and businesses who want art for their walls and offices.
